Syncing Password AFTER a password change
CHANGED PASSWORD ON BOXX WORKSTATION & NEED TO SYNC NEW PASSWORD WITH LAPTOP
When changing your password on your remote connection ( RDP, Remote desktop, remote workstation) there is a possibility that your password will not sync down to your laptop. After you change your password follow the steps below to ensure your password is synced across the Cooper Carry network.
To sync your new password with your Cooper Carry laptop, do the following:
- Open and connect to the AppGate software.
- Once its connected, lock the laptop by pressing Ctrl+Alt+Delete and select the option Lock.
- Unlock the laptop with the new password.
Then try accessing one of the network drives (M:\drive, P:\drive, etc...) and if you can the new password has been synced successfully on the laptop.
Your Cooper Carry password should be synced across the network.
